Prullenbos & Boskabanne

Looking for a meeting location in a wooded area with a nice group accommodation for a teambuilding or meeting with colleagues? Or would you like to give an original staff party? Then the Boskabanne is the right place for you! This charming house is located in Laarne, 10 kilometres from Ghent, in the middle of the trash forest and next to an idyllic pond. 

De Boskabanne can easily be called a green house and not only because of its woody location. A conscious choice was made for sustainable and energy efficient elements. This is expressed, for example, in the heating with wood pellets, which greatly reduces CO² emissions. In addition, thanks to a ventilation system, the fresh, healthy forest air is brought into the Boskabanne, which ensures that it is also wonderful to stay inside. 

This location has several advantages: the green surroundings around the Prullenbosvijver and the unusual original architecture are inspiring. In the Prullenbos you can escape the daily hustle and bustle and organize your activity undisturbed.

Small and large groups

The Boskabanne offers spacious meeting facilities for meetings, workshops and team activities. The hostel can be rented as a breakout room, for a BBQ in the evening or as a catering room. If you want to add an extra touch to your event, you can rent the circus tent and/or stretching tent during the summer months. In warm weather you can always find peace and coolness in the woods.

Sleeping accommodation and forest breakfast

The Boskabanne offers sleeping accommodation for up to 36 people, spread over 7 bedrooms. De Boskabanne can be rented on weekdays from 1 night. In the weekend the Boskabanne is rented per two nights and starts from Friday 18h until Sunday 16h. Don't feel like having breakfast yourself? Then they serve the forest breakfast in the inn.  

Team activities

In the forest and around a beautiful pond you will discover a unique green zone. As a recreational area, the Prullenbos has a lot of activities on offer. You can have fun with archery tag, lasershooting, orientation tours. In addition, it is also possible to make use of the folk games in the Boskabanne and they offer an Inscape Challenge. The aim is to break into a coffin and find the lost panel of the Lamb of God, the Righteous Judges, through riddles. 

In the neighbourhood 

The Boskabanne is located in the Prullenbos on the border between Laarne and Wetteren.  Both municipalities have a lot to offer. You can visit the Castle of Laarne, one of the best preserved moated castles in Belgium. Wetteren is known for its rose fields. Both Laarne and Wetteren are equipped with extensive cycling and walking junctions so you can explore the region by bike or on foot.
